CVS – Money-Makers & Freebies coming up!

Next week, there will be a hot money-maker and a freebie at CVS. You will want to print out your coupons now, because they might be gone before the sale starts!

1. Dial Nutriskin Body Wash – $5.49, get $4.50 EB. Use the $1 coupon to get these for free! Sadly, the limit is 1 per card (but who knows – they have changed it to 3 or 5 in the middle of the week before – maybe we will get lucky again!)

2. Dove shampoo or conditioners – $4.49, get $4.49 EB. Again, the limit on these is just 1. Use the $1.50 coupon from the 3-28 RP (or the $2 printable *no longer available to print) to make this a money-maker!

I have a $8.99 EB from buying the Complete contact solution this week. Its perfect for snatching up these two items:

Dial Nutriskin bodywash $5.49 – $1 coupon = $4.49
Dove Shampoo $4.49 – $2 coupon = $2.99
$2 filler (probably 1/2 gallon milk)
Use the $8.99 EB, pay $0.00!! Get back $4.49 and $4.50 EB

Or, if you get these on Saturday, you could combine them with the Nature’s Bounty vitamins to get a serious money-maker:

6 vitamin D @ $4.99 each, use 3 $5 coupons and 3 $3 coupons
Dial bodywash
Dove Shampoo
=$.94 + tax (without using the Dial or Dove coupons), get back $4.50 and $4.49 EB = $8 money-maker!

Thanks to iHeartCVS for the preview, and Thrifty Puppy for the heads-up on the Dial!

HOT DEAL: Pampers @ CVS

This week the Pamper’s are on sale @ CVS for $8.97 (original price $11.99).  You also receive $3 EB back – and its been confirmed that the limit is 3 instead of the ad-stated 2 (**Note – you can’t buy all 3 in the same transaction).  Use the $2 coupons from the 3-14 RP or the 2-7 PG, and it could look like this:

2 Pampers – $17.94
Use 2 of the $2 coupons
Pay $13.94, receive $6 back in EB

You could turn right around & do this:

Pampers – $8.97
Use the $2 coupon
Use the $6 EB from the first transaction
Pay $.97 + tax, get $3 EB back

So, for a total cost of $14.91, you will have 3 packages of diapers and $3 EB left to spend on something else!  That’s $4.97/pack for diapers!!  Not too shabby 🙂  If you have EB to use on the first transaction, your out of pocket costs could be considerably lower.

Saturday Shop with me @ CVS

Today I grabbed my mom & went shopping at CVS.  We are in the middle of a big snow storm, but all that meant was that the store was fairly empty & pretty well stocked for me 🙂  Extreme couponing at its best!!  I am so glad the Nature’s Bounty deal was still going on.  I was able to find a TON of vitamins & get the overage for the other things I was after.  YAY!

I did 3 separate transactions for a total OOP of $3.27.  *As a side note, I only count the cash I actually spent as OOP*

#1:

2 Pamper’s Cruisers – $8.97 each, used $2 coupons – $13.94
2 Airwick i-Motion air fresheners – $4.99 each, used $4 coupons – $1.98
6 Nature’s Bounty vitamins – $35.34, used $30 in coupons, $17.57 in store discounts – $12.23 overage!
CVS paper towels – $1.29, used $1 CRT coupon – $.29
Trident – $1.29
Used $4.49 in EB
Total OOP = $0.93, earned $6 EB (Pampers)

#2

2 Pamper’s Cruisers – $8.97 each, used $2 coupons – $13.94
1 Airwick i-Motion – $4.99, used $4 coupon – $.99
6 Nature’s Bounty vitamins – $29.94, used $28 in coupons, $14.97 in store discounts – $13.03 in overage
4 Stayfree maxi pads – $3.79 each, used 2 $1 coupons and 2 BOGO coupons – $5.58
Used $5.99 in EB
Total OOP = $1.72, earned back $6 EB (Pampers) and $8 EB (Stayfree)

#3

4 Stayfree maxi pads – $3.79 each, used 2 $1 coupons and 2 BOGO coupons – $5.58
Used $5 EB
Total OOP = $.62, earned $8 EB (Stayfree)

So, my overall OOP was $3.27 for all of these items.  The original cost of these items was over $160 (before tax!).

Money Making Monday!

I went to CVS after work to grab up some of the Nature’s Bounty vitamins & get some other great deals.  Here’s what I ended up with:

Only one transaction at each store, and only 2 stores (can you believe it?)

1st transaction:

2 Kashi cereals – $2.50 on sale, used $1.50 VocalPoint coupons = $1 each
2 Right Guard deodorants – $2.50 on sale, used $1.50 coupons = $1 each
2 Degree deodorants – $2.50 each, used $1.25 coupons = $1.25 each
2 Nature’s Bounty potassiums – $4.99 each
4 Nature’s Bounty zincs – $5.99 each
*Used 3 $5 coupons and 3 $3 coupons – $7.03 overage total
1 CVS paper towels – $1.29, used $1 CRT coupon – $.29
1 caramel (my subtotal went negative!) – $.33

Total OOP was only $.10!  I did not use any EBs at all, just the overage from the Nature’s Bounty coupons.  I earned back $2 EB from buying the Right Guard 🙂  So this was a $1.90 money-maker overall.

2nd transaction:

1 Kashi cereal – $2.50 on sale, used $1.50 VocalPoint coupon = $1
6 Degree deodorants – $2.50 on sale, used 3 $3/2 coupons = $1 each
Fritos – for DH – $2.89
1 CVS paper towels – $1.29, used $1 CRT coupon – $.29
2 Nature’s Bounty potassiums – $4.99 each
4 Nature’s Bounty vitamin Ds – $4.99 each
Used 3 $5 coupons and 3 $3 coupons – $9.03 overage total
Used $1 EB from Green Bag Tag

Total OOP was $.27.  I received $5 EB from buying the Degree, so my overall “profit” on this transaction was $3.73

So, in total today I spent $.37 out of pocket, but I ended up the day with $5.63 in profit, and over $120 worth of products!!  Sure, CVS, I will let you pay me to take stuff out of the store.  No problem!

Saturday Shopping

Today I headed out to CVS to grab up some of the deals before they closed.  Luckily I was able to get everything I went in for!

I did 3 transactions for a total out of pocket cost of $5.98:

#1
2 Oral B toothbrushes
– BOGO Oral B coupon
Final cost = $4.32

#2
Venus razor – clearance – $6
-$2 Venus coupon
Olay body wash $8.99
-$8.99 coupon (free body wash when you buy a razor)
Nivea lip care $2.99
2 Sour Patch kids for DH – $1.98
CVS paper towels $1.29
-$1 scanner coupon for paper towels
– $8 EB from first transaction
Final cost: $1.35

#3
CVS paper towels $1.29
-$1 scanner coupon
Final cost $.31

I started out the day with $0 EB, and ended up with $9 to use next time.  Works for me!  I really hope that these paper towel coupons continue for awhile.  I like stocking up on them when they are this cheap.
