Charity Challenge – $476 donated

Shopping so much at CVS and Walgreens means that I often have a surplus of items on hand.  My co-workers asked for some of that stock this month for our Christmas Charity for Truman Medical Center.  We have adopted 10 residents.  Each resident asks for basic hygiene items, and then something “fun” in addition to that.  Since I was able to provide the basics, we are able to spend the money we raised on getting them the gifts that they want 🙂

Overall I donated 94 items, with a full retail value of $476.32

The Charity Challenge was started by Tanya over at CVS Saver.  Getting the bargains every week is a lot of fun, but being able to use your powers for good is even better.  Feel free to post your own Charity Challenges (and post a link here in the comments).
