Happy Easter – Help Support CMN!!

March 21, 2010 at 3:05 pm 1 comment

Awww shucks, I just received a virtual Hershey’s Easter Basket from Domino over at Hounding with Thrifty Puppy!!  The Easter Basket is from the  Hershey’s Better Basket Blog Hop .  But what’s even cooler is that the Basket is to help raise awareness and money for Children’s Miracle Network.

Hershey has partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network for over 20 years. CMN is a non-profit alliance of children’s hospitals dedicated to providing state-of-the-art care, life-saving research and preventative education across North America.  As a part of a family that has been personally touched by childhood cancer, I can think of no better place to help support!!!

If you’re a blogger, you can also team up with Hershey and the Children’s Miracle Network for this great cause! Hershey will donate up to $10 for every blog post mentioning Hershey’s Better Basket Blog Hop (up to $5,000) to the Children’s Miracle Network.

You don’t have to wait to until you receive a virtual Easter Basket to participate. All you have to do is write a blog post according to the official “rules” below and then leave a link to your post on the Better Basket Blog Hop page in the comments section. Please note that only one post per blog will count toward the donation.

HERSHEY’S BETTER BASKET BLOG HOP RULES

  • Create a blog post giving a virtual Easter Basket to another blogger – you can give as many Virtual Baskets as you want.
  • Link back to person who gave you an Easter Basket.
  • Let each person you are giving a Virtual Easter Basket know you have given them a Basket.
  • Leave your link in the BetterBasket.info/BlogHop comment section. You can also find the official rules of this Better Basket blog hop, and more information about Better Basket with Hershey’s there.
  • Hershey’s is donating $10 per each blog participating to the Better Basket Blog Hop to Children’s Miracle Network (up to total of $5,000 by blog posts written by April 4th, 2010).
  • Please note that only one blog post by each blog url will count towards the donation.
  • This is pretty cool.  Just by posting, they will donate $10!!  I am “giving” this basket to the following bloggers (and hopefully they will join me by posting & getting the donation as well!):
