Its time again for the weekly dinner deals! As a quick reminder, here are the ads:

I used a lot of crock-pot recipes this week. I dont know about you, but things are starting to get busy around our house now that its getting nicer outside. Quick, easy meals are the game plan this week!

Beef Pot Roast

  • 2lb arm roast (Apple Market or Price Chopper, $1.79/lb)
  • 1lb bag organic baby carrots (Hy-Vee $1.50)
  • Green beans (Hen House $.08)
  • Final cost: $6 for 4 servings ($1.50 each)

Spaghetti w/Meatballs

  • Ground beef (Price Chopper $1.59/lb)
  • Ragu sauce (Price chopper $.99)
  • Pasta (Price Chopper – free)
  • Salad (HyVee – free)
  • Final cost: $4 for 4 servings ($1 each)

Barbecued Chicken Breasts

  • Split chicken breasts (Apple Market, $.89/lb)
  • Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad (HyVee $.85)
  • Steamed corn (Hen House $.08)
  • Final cost: $3 for 4 servings ($.75 each)

Hot Ham & Cheese

  • Ham (HyVee $4.99/lb)
  • Cheese (HyVee – free)
  • Organic baby carrots (HyVee $1.50)
  • Dole salad (HyVee – free)
  • Final cost: $8 for 4 servings, or $2 each

Soup, Salad & bread

  • Crusty bread (Hen House $.89)
  • Campbell’s Select Harvest soup (HyVee – $1)
  • Dole salad (HyVee – free)
  • Final cost: $3 for 4 servings ($.75 each)

Some great breakfast options for the week:

  • Yogurts (Apple Market – $.13 each)
  • Fresh strawberries (HyVee $2.99)

BOGO = Buy one, get one (usually buy one get one free).

EB = Extra Bucks. Use these like cash at CVS.

IP = Internet Printable coupon.

IVC = Instant Value Coupon. These are at Walgreens

MIR = Mail in Rebate

OOP = Out of Pocket

P&G = Proctor & Gamble. One of the Sunday
coupon inserts.

RP = Red Plum. One of the Sunday coupon inserts.

RR = Register Rewards. Use these like cash at Walgreens.

SS = Smart Source. One of the Sunday coupon inserts

WYB = when you buy
