Money Making Monday!

I went to CVS after work to grab up some of the Nature’s Bounty vitamins & get some other great deals.  Here’s what I ended up with:

Only one transaction at each store, and only 2 stores (can you believe it?)

1st transaction:

2 Kashi cereals – $2.50 on sale, used $1.50 VocalPoint coupons = $1 each
2 Right Guard deodorants – $2.50 on sale, used $1.50 coupons = $1 each
2 Degree deodorants – $2.50 each, used $1.25 coupons = $1.25 each
2 Nature’s Bounty potassiums – $4.99 each
4 Nature’s Bounty zincs – $5.99 each
*Used 3 $5 coupons and 3 $3 coupons – $7.03 overage total
1 CVS paper towels – $1.29, used $1 CRT coupon – $.29
1 caramel (my subtotal went negative!) – $.33

Total OOP was only $.10!  I did not use any EBs at all, just the overage from the Nature’s Bounty coupons.  I earned back $2 EB from buying the Right Guard 🙂  So this was a $1.90 money-maker overall.

2nd transaction:

1 Kashi cereal – $2.50 on sale, used $1.50 VocalPoint coupon = $1
6 Degree deodorants – $2.50 on sale, used 3 $3/2 coupons = $1 each
Fritos – for DH – $2.89
1 CVS paper towels – $1.29, used $1 CRT coupon – $.29
2 Nature’s Bounty potassiums – $4.99 each
4 Nature’s Bounty vitamin Ds – $4.99 each
Used 3 $5 coupons and 3 $3 coupons – $9.03 overage total
Used $1 EB from Green Bag Tag

Total OOP was $.27.  I received $5 EB from buying the Degree, so my overall “profit” on this transaction was $3.73

So, in total today I spent $.37 out of pocket, but I ended up the day with $5.63 in profit, and over $120 worth of products!!  Sure, CVS, I will let you pay me to take stuff out of the store.  No problem!

Great job! And thanks for the heads up on the Nature’s Bounty. I need to figure out how I can print more of those Q’s.

Thank you so much for your vitamin idea! What a great money maker! I scored 6 vitamins, 6 deodorants and some Easter candy and I received a $5 ECB for the deodorant! All I had to pay was tax!
