$1.34 @ CVS

Yesterday & today I made some quick stops by CVS.  I had some ECB that were expiring, so I grabbed up some freebies.  Here’s what I got in 2 separate transactions:

#1:

  • Softsoap cashmere body wash – $4.49, get $4 EB back.  Used $1 coupon, was $.51 profit
  • Powerbar Energy Gel Blasts – $1.50, get $1.50 back.  Used $1 coupon, was $1 profit
  • Oral B toothbrush – $4, get $4 EB back = FREE
  • Nivea lip balm – $2.99, get $2.99 back = FREE
  • 4 Gold Emblem spices – $.99 each, BOGO free = $1.98
  • Used $12 ECB
  • Total cost = $1.03

#2

  • Oral B toothbrush – $4, get $4 EB back
  • CVS papertowels – $1.29, used $1 off paper towels coupon (from the price-checker machine) = $.29
  • Total cost: $.31

This week the scanner is giving out a coupon good for $1 off CVS brand paper towels.  The recycled paper rolls are $1.29 each (cheaper towels, I use for draining greasy things or cleaning up puppy messes).  The CVS version of Bounty is only $2.15, so after the coupon it would be $1.15 for a good roll of towels (those are my favorite).

I have $12.49 in ECB to use for upcoming sales.  I really hope that I can get an x/xx coupon soon!  I also will get $1 EB next time I use my Green Bag Tag.
