I went out to use some giftcards and run some errands today.  Overall I spent less than $22 for my whole trip 🙂

CVS

Transaction #1:

Complete contact solution $8.99

Tums $3.99

Used $10 EB, total was $3.21.  Received $8.99 EB from the Complete and $1 EB from the Tums

Transaction #2

Complete contact solution $8.99

Used $8.99 EB from first transaction, total was $0.  Received another $8.99 EB (limit was 2).

Hen House

10 Birds Eye frozen vegables
– $.50 coupons, doubled = free

Roberts Milk $3.47
– $.50 coupon doubled = $2.47

Eggland’s Best eggs $1.88
– $.35 coupon doubled = $1.18

$.05 bag credit

Total was $3.51

TJ Maxx

I needed to get some new work shirts for DH, and we had received a giftcard for TJ Maxx from the wedding.  I decided to stop in & see if they had anything that would work.  I was able to get him 3 dress shirts (each with a tie, and one with cufflinks!) for $19.99 each.  The giftcard was $50, so I just had to pay $15.53 for the shirts.  Awesome!!

Overall it was a pretty good shopping day.  Its nice to get the things we need for such a low price.
