Shopping Trip 8-29

I just love it when CVS starts their sales early!  You get to have the best of both worlds & shop the sales concurrently.  Works for me!

CVS 016

Transaction #1 (my card):

Viologie Shampoo $3.99

Viologie Conditioner $3.99

Glade Reed Diffuser $6.99

CVS candy $.99 (not pictured – ate it already 🙂 )

CVS Candy $1.50

– Viologie BOGO sale – $3.99

Viologie BOGO coupon – $3.99

-$3 Glade Q

-$2/10 CVS brand purchase

-$2 ECB

-$1/2 CVS brand candies

Total $1.59 OOP, got back $6.99 ECB (Glade).  That’s a $3.41 MM!

Transaction #2 (DF’s card):

Viologie Shampoo $3.99

Viologie Conditioner $3.99

CVS disinfecting wipes $2.50

CVS disinfecting wipes $2.50

Glade reed diffuser $6.99

Eclipse Gum $1.29

Eclipse Gum $1.29

Kotex Liners $1.49

Kotex Liners $1.49

-Viologie BOGO sale – $3.99

Viologie BOGO coupon -$3.99

-$2/10 CVS purchase

-$2 Glade diffuser Q

-Eclipse BOGO coupon – $1.29

-Kotex BOGO – $1.49

– Kotex coupon $.75

-Kotex coupon $.75

-$8 ECB

Total was $1.34, ECB back $6.99 (Glade) and $2 (CVS wipes, when you buy 2).  Net cost of this one was about $.34 after coupons & ECB.

The manager told me today that they are no longer able to adjust ECB down, which is why I had to add on the gum.  I hope that is really not the case everywhere.  He said that they didnt want people having $0 OOPs any more 😦  If that really is the case I will be pretty sad.  Looks like those $.01 highlighters/pens will make awesome fillers while they last!
